South East London DJ, producer and vocalist Ell Murphy has been making waves with her high energy DJ sets & vocal features, often singing live behind the decks to deliver a unique performance style. Ell brings a huge live mix of vocal driven House & Garage with notable live sets at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Fabric, OutlookOrigins &supporting Ewan McVicar, Sammy Virji, Arielle Free, DJ EZ & Interplanetary Criminal.Featured in Clash Magazine’s ‘On the Cusp of Greatness’, you can catch Ell’s high energy selections on the airwaves across the UK on RINSE, Balamii, & Foundation FM, NTS, focusing on vocal driven House & Garage.

Ell has collaborated with some of the most promising talent in UK dance including TSHA, YUQT, Giulia Tess and Mafro, releasing on labels including Ninja Tune, Dansy Discs, Shall Not Fade and Locked On. Last year saw Ell release ‘Pressure’ and the Moving EP on Greco Roman, with ‘Need It’ featuring in Mixmag’s top 100 tracks of the year.

The releases received widespread support across the board from DJ Mag, Mixmag, playlisted on Capital FM Dance, Rinse FM and support from Radio 1 from DJs including Sarah Story, JackSaunders, Arielle Free, Jaguar and Sherelle & Nemone on BBC6Music.Ell started the year strong with a huge UKG remix from rising producer Osmosis Jones, and the first digital & dubplate release of ‘Needin ’U’ on her own Jucey Tunes label. She is currently working on a a new EP for release in May.
