Squint

Squint is a Manchester-based jazz quintet that fuses intricate composition with improvisation. Their music is influenced by the forms and harmony of the Post-Bop era along with the grooves of Funk, Hip-Hop and electronic dance music. Squint’s gigs have an electric atmosphere, created by the interaction between the band members, with no two performances being the same. They have performed to a 300 person audience as part of ‘Jazz for Ukraine’, as well in several Manchester venues: The Yard, The Rat & Pigeon and Fuel Cafe Bar
